Määrlammin alueen jätevesihuolto

Abstract

Tässä opinnäytetyössä tutkittiin Tammelan kunnassa sijaitsevan Määrlammin alueen jätevesihuoltoa ja mahdollisuuksia sen parantamiseen. Kyselytutkimukseen vastanneista ilmoitti 8 asuvansa alueella vakituisesti ja 28 ilmoitti kiinteistönsä olevan loma-asunto.

Työn tilaajana on Määrlammin suojelu ry, jonka jäseniä ovat Määrlammin alueen kiinteistöjen käyttäjiä.

Määrlammin ongelmana on hyvin heikko ulkoisen kuormituksen sietokyky. Tätä kuormitusta tulee kaikin tavoin vähentää.

Työssä selvitettiin kyselytutkimuksella jätevesijärjestelmien nykytila ja pohdittiin tulevaisuuden parannusmahdollisuudet ottaen huomioon Tammelan kunnan määräykset sekä se, että alue on I luokan pohjavesialuetta.

Tutkimuksessa tuli ilmi, että jätevesiä pääsee joko suoraan Määrlammiin, tai maaperän kautta mahdollisesti myös pohjaveteen. Paineviemäriä odotellessa on mahdollisuus hoitaa jätevesiasia kuntoon käyttämällä umpitankkia.

The aim of this Bachelor’s thesis was to examine the sewage system and the possibilities to improve it in Määrlammi area located in the municipality of Tammela. Eight of those answering the survey live permanently in the area whereas 28 use their real estate as a holiday home.

The commissioner of this thesis was Määrlammin suojelu ry (the Conservation of Määrlammi registered association) whose members are the occupants of the real estates in the area.

The most significant problem of Määrlammi lake area proved to be the weak tolerance of nutrient inputs from all kinds of human activities. These nutrient releases should be reduced from their present levels in every possible way.

The present state of the sewage system was examined by using a survey and the possible improvements in the water protection methods in the future were analyzed taking into consideration the regulations of the municipality of Tammela and the fact that the area is a groundwater area belonging to class 1.

The thesis shows that wastewater is still released directly to Määrlammi or, in addition to that, it can get through the soil possibly to ground water. While waiting for the pressure sewer the water protection could be improved by using a closed tank.
