Byggnadsentreprenören : En studie om samarbetet mellan små och stora företag i staden Raseborg

Abstract

Byggnadsentreprenören är viktig i ett samhälle i ständig förändring och speciellt lokalt är det viktigt att det finns kunniga byggarbetare i den egna regionen. Mitt examensarbete ser närmare på behovet av samarbetsnätverk mellan små- och storföretag inom byggnadsbranschen i staden Raseborg. Frågor som tas upp i arbetet är hur ett effektivt samarbete kan skapas mellan företag i byggnadsbranschen och hur alla nätverk påverkar varandra.

För arbetet gjordes en marknadsundersökning bland fyra olika stora byggnadsföretag som är verksamma i regionen Raseborg. En individuell intervju gjordes med samtliga företag och svaren analyserades.

Byggnadsentreprenörerna i Raseborg och andra regioner i Finland bör bli mera medvetna om samarbetsnätverkens existens samt deras betydelse för den fortsatta verksamheten. Det räcker inte med enbart god yrkeskunskap i byggnadsföretagen, utan det är många andra aspekter som spelar stor roll i affärsvärlden

The building contractor has an important role in a constantly evolving world. Locally it is very important that there are skilled construction workers in one’s own region. My thesis looks at how important networks between small and large companies are in the construction industry and in the municipality of Raseborg. Issues addressed in the thesis are what you need to think about as a building contractor today, how effective cooperation can be achieved between the companies in the construction industry, the importance of these collaborative networks and how all these affect each other.

I have chosen to do a market research among four major construction companies operating in the region of Raseborg. An individual interview was done with all the different companies and the responses were analyzed. A deductive research approach and a qualitative research method were chosen for my thesis.

I think the topic is important to address because builders in Raseborg and other regions in Finland should be more aware of the existence of cooperation networks and their importance. I want to emphasize that it is not enough to only achieve a high level of skill in the construction business, but that there are many other aspects that play a major role when you are in the business world.
