Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyöni on kehittämistyö, joka toteutettiin Uudenkaupungin kaupungin työ-terveyshuollossa. Uudenkaupungin työterveyshuolto toimii kaupungin työntekijöiden työterveyshuoltona sekä lisäksi se tarjoaa palveluita lukuisille muille yrityksille.
Kehittämistyön tarkoituksena oli kuvata ja arvioida nykyiset työpaikkaselvitysprosessi sekä terveystarkastusprosessi ja kehittää niitä sekä kuvata kehitetyt prosessit laatujärjestelmään. Tavoitteena oli kehittää ja yhtenäistää Uudenkaupungin kaupungin työterveyshuollon palveluiden laatua.
Kehittämistyö toteutettiin toimintatutkimuksen avulla. Ensimmäisessä syklissä kuvattiin työpaikkaselvitysprosessin ja terveystarkastusprosessin nykytila sekä itsearvioinnit kyseisten prosessien osalta. Toiseen sykliin sisältyi kehittämispäivä, jossa työyhteisö arvioi prosessien toimivuutta pienryhmissä. Kolmannessa syklissä kuvattiin prosessit IMS-järjestelmään ja neljännessä syklissä prosessit jalkautettiin työyksikköön ja arvioitiin SHQS-kriteeristöä apuna käyttäen.
Kehittämistyön tuloksena muodostui prosessimallit työpaikkaselvityksestä ja ter-veystarkastuksesta. Työterveyshuollon toimintaa säätelevät lait, jotka ovat prosessien lähtökohtana. Kehittämistyön aikana työyhteisön ja tiimien välinen yhteistyö lisääntyi ja tietoisuus eri ammattiryhmien tekemästä työstä kasvoi. My thesis is a development project that was carried out in the Occupational Health Care in the city of Uusikaupunki. The Uusikaupunki occupational health service provides occupational health care services for the employees of the city, as well as to several other companies.
The purpose of the development project was to describe and evaluate the current workplace survey process and health examination process and to develop them, as well as to have the developed processes described in the quality system. The aim was to develop and standardize the quality of occupational health care services of the City of Uusikaupunki.
The development project was carried out with the help of an action research. The first cycle described the current status of the workplace survey process and the health screening process, as well as selfassessments of those processes. The second cycle included a day, where the work community, in small groups, evaluated what supports and what hinders the processes. The third cycle included describing the processes in the IMS system, and in the fourth cycle the processes were implemented in the work unit and evaluated using the SHQS criteria.
As a result of the development project, process models were developed for work-place surveys and health examinations. Occupational health care is governed by laws that form the starting point for the processes. During the development project, collaboration between the work community and teams increased, and awareness of the work done by different professional groups grew.
