Tiivistelmä
This report was done to explore the opportunities, possibilities, and processes involved in starting a business in Finland. The purpose of this thesis was to clearly explain the importance of Afro-Asian shops in Finland for immigrants especially Africans and Asians and further highlight the importance of entrepreneurship and the gradual growth of women entrepreneurs in the world and Finland in particular.
The case study of the research is Taj Mehal Afro-Asian Market a grocery store located in Helsinki. The commissioner of this thesis is Mr. Tauqeer Qureshi, who is the co-founder and partner of Taj-Mehal Afro-Asian Market. This thesis was implemented through an interview conducted in English with about twenty semi-structured questions.
To conclude, the result of this research indicates that even though Finland is a small market, there are huge opportunities for entrepreneurs operating already, encouraging interested aspiring individuals to start their own business.
