Tiivistelmä
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to use the process optimization methods developed in basic research to show possibilities how these theoretical methods could be implemented in the introduction of “Industry 4.0” with the focus on the “Smart Factory” and the “Internet of Things”. Another goal of the bachelor thesis is the assessment of the practical implementation in sample companies and which preliminary or disadvantages for the company arise during the introduction. In process optimization it is important to involve the management level and to integrate further stakeholders into the restricting process.
