Nursing is developing radically in the future, and a lot of change has already
been made over the past few years. Nursing is becoming more demanding now,
as well as more and more investment in self-care in the future. In the development of the digitalisation of practical nursing, the focus should now be on how to
improve the activity. The effectiveness of self-care is now invested, in it a person participates in the treatment itself and can actively monitor his own health
status, for example, with a self-help service. Remote connectivity and various
nursing applications therefore facilitate and enhance the design of self-care and
also the implementation of practical work in nursing. Digitalization by benefitDynasty is able to perform high-quality, as well as cost-effective care.
The purpose of this thesis was to map out how nurses from various outpatient
clinics at TYKS Salon Hospital utilize Health Village digital services as a tool
and patient counseling. The Opin sample work also aims to enhance the use of
the Health Kylän.fi service.
The thesis was carried out as a quantitative study. Collection of the material
was carried out in May 2020. A paper questionnaire was used to collect the material. The questionnaire included several multiple choice questions and one
open question. Multiple choice questions were analysed spatial and open question with content analysis.
It can be interpreted from the survey that nurses at the Salon Hospital outpatient clinics do not use the Health Village service very actively. In the Health Village Service Use Survey, the highest response percentages were for every
question under 'less than once a month' or 'never. '
As a conclusion, it was noted that knowledge should be increased about the
various services and activities of Health Village.fi and Health VillagPro. The site
and its functions should be presented to caregivers, for example. With the help
of a brochure that could be delivered to outpatient clinics.
A further study proposal could be considered a new survey on the availability of
the service and could also be better informed of the reasons why Health Village
services are so actively or inactively used.
