Re-manufacturing for reuse of steel structures

Abstract

Re-use is an alternative solution to recycling and remanufacturing, exploits the potential of existing technologies and services, but also introduces new business opportunities for existing and newly emerging companies. The goal of re-use is to support such recovery processes that result in the same grade of product， Some remanufacturing may be required even in the case of re-use, but the cost should be generally less when compared to recycling and it is more environment friendly.
