The entrepreneurs in Kosovo are facing difficulties in reaching for advising and business funding. Therefore, its citizens hesitate to conduct entrepreneurial activities due to the fact of not possessing enough resources. A few non-profit organizations supported by foreign donors are currently operating in Kosovo, where the entrepreneurs seek help in business advising and grants. But, the problem relies on the limitation of the number of applicants accepted and the resources the non-profit organizations possess.
In this thesis, the author has explained the entrepreneurship activities in Kosovo and in Finland. The main goal is to highlight the stronger and weaker points of both countries regarding entrepreneurial activities and give improvement recommendations to Kosovo on how Finland conducts these activities.
The research method used while conducting this thesis was the constructive research method, described in the first chapter of the thesis.
A detailed literature review on entrepreneurship in Finland and Kosovo was done in the initial phases. Then, an interview was conducted with entrepreneurship experts from both Finland and Kosovo, and the results of the interview are provided in the later chapters.
At the very end of the thesis, the author gave the conclusion and recommendation on improving Kosovo's entrepreneurial activities based on Finland's practices.
