This study focuses on understanding the benefits of infographics for content marketing on Facebook. Here, Globuzzer is seen as a real case suitable to study because their marketing model is content marketing. This research will work on three leading questions including user reactions to reading an article with infographics, the effectiveness of infographics in content marketing, and what results of the use of infographics in content marketing on Facebook gives Globuzzer.
Definitions and different views on the application of infographics in content marketing are referenced from a variety of sources and integrated into the theory part of the thesis. There are three main issues that are thoroughly analyzed: content marketing, social media (Facebook in specific), and infographics. Then, the basic theory above is synthesized and summarized into the combination of infographics and social media in content marketing.
The empirical study section is a combination of two common research methods, qualitative and quantitative. The interviews and surveys that provide more information on the topic of this study are the prominent sides of infographics. The results have a study showing the high success of combining graphic design and marketing on social media, typically Facebook through user satisfaction.
