Tiivistelmä
The main purpose of this thesis is to document the daily responsibilities and the development progress of a junior software engineer at KPMG Finland. The working period starts from 26.10.2020 to 1.1.2021.
The diary covers a period of 10 working weeks. Each weekly report includes 2 parts: daily observation and weekly evaluation. The daily will describe the main tasks and events that happened in a day, while the week evaluation analyses deeper new skills in the author’s professional development progress. The technology will be diverse from Java Spring Boot, Node Js to Angular or React.
This thesis would be useful for undergraduates or anyone who inquire into what a junior software engineer does at work in general and in a global big four organization specifically. Therefore, they can well prepare while still at university and improve what skills are demanded in a working environment.
