Allt var bättre förr, eller?

Abstract

”Allt var bättre förr, eller?” är vad vi kallar vår idé för ett företagskoncept. Vi har valt att utveckla en affärsidé och undersöka den ur olika synvinklar. Arbetet är således en analys av möjligheterna att grunda ett företag med en specifik designfilosofi. Vår designfilosofi handlar om att tillverka och planera möbler enligt teorin att dagens konsumtionsvanor bör förändras. I arbetet behandlas ämnen som ekologi, hållbarhet och konsumtion, och även vår syn på dessa ämnen presenteras. För att få en uppfattning om vad man borde ta i beaktande då man grundar ett företag behandlas även kort grunderna i företagsverksamhet. Vi presenterar den visuella helhet som vi har utvecklat för vårt företag, samt en serie möbler vi har planerat, som följer företagets designfilosofi. Arbetet innehåller även bildmaterial på en prototyp som vi har tillverkat ur denna serie.

"Everything was better before, right?" is what we call our idea for a business concept. We have chosen to develop a business idea and explore it from different angles. The work therefore analyzes the possibilities of establishing a business with a specific design philosophy. Our design philosophy concerns the making and planning of furniture according to the theory that today's consumption habits must change. The work deals with topics such as ecology, sustainability and consumption, and also our views on these topics are presented. The basics of business are also briefly discussed to get an idea of what you should take into account when founding a company. We present the visual identity that we have developed for our company, and a series of furniture that we have designed that follow the company's design philosophy. The work also includes footage of a prototype that we have made from this series.
