Men vad hände sedan?
As a child, I spend hours outdoors in the woods, in ditches and in fields. The
imagination flows. The trees are my friends and I sleep on a bed of spruce twigs and moss. I explore and my curiosity knows no bounds. I see spring buds sprout, gets green, dry and are replaced by a snow-covered branch until one day I see a bud sprout again. My childhood memories are outdoor memories. But what happened next?
In my work, I reflect on how over the years I lost my curiosity about nature. I investigate the concept of biophilia and use it as a starting point for a reconnection to nature. Through a sound performance, I maintain a dialogue with nature where I slowly but surely connect and explore my own biophilic behavior and how I find my way back to the security, joy and curiosity I felt in nature as a child.
