Työkykyjohtaminen : Työkykyprosessi työntekijän näkökulmasta

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tutkia, millainen kokemus työkykyprosessi on työntekijöiden näkökulmasta ja onko prosessissa heidän mielestään kehitettävää. Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin haastat-telututkimuksena, jossa kolme henkilöä sai kertoa oman kokemuksensa. Teoriaosuudessa käsiteltiin hyvää työkykyä, johon sisältyvät työhyvinvointi, sen riskitekijät, työsuojelu, työturvallisuus sekä työterveyshuolto. Toisena teoriaosuuden osana käsiteltiin työkyvyn arvioinnin prosessia Bolidenilla. Lähdemateriaalina käytettiin monipuolisesti aiheen kirjallisuutta sekä verkkolähteitä.

Opinnäytetyössä selvitettiin tutkimukseen osallistuvien henkilöiden kokemus työkykyprosessista ja siitä, millaista tukea he saivat prosessin eri vaiheissa. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli antaa työkalu-ja yritykselle vielä kehittää työkykyprosessin kulkua ja antaa sille tietoa siitä, kuinka työntekijät kokevat sen tällä hetkellä.

Opinnäytetyöstä käy ilmi, että työntekijät ovat erittäin tyytyväisiä työkykyprosessiinsa. Jokaisella heistä on erilainen tilanne, mutta jokainen kokee olevansa yritykselle tärkeä vaikeassakin tilanteessa. He ihailivat sitä, että työnantaja huolehtii heidän tilanteessaan olevista työntekijöistä. Työkykyprosessi koettiin jokaisen kohdalla erityisen onnistuneeksi kokemukseksi.

The objective of this thesis was to research what kind of experience the work ability process is from the employees’ point of view and whether they think the process needs to be developed. The thesis was carried out as an interview study, in which three persons were asked to share their own experiences. The theoretical part was dealing with good work ability, which includes well-being at work and its risk factors, occupational safety,and health care. The second part of the theoretical part was dealing with the work ability assessment process at Boliden. As source material for this thesis, both literature and online sources related to the topic were extensively used.

The thesis examined each person’s experience of the work ability process and the instead of what support they received at different stages of the process. The purpose of the thesis was to provide tools for the company for further development of the work ability process and to give them information about how employees experience it at the moment.

The thesis shows that employees are very satisfied with their work ability process. Each of them were in a different situation, but regardless the situation, each of them felt that they were important to the company even within a difficult situation. They admired how the employer takes care of employees in their situation. The work ability process was perceived as a particularly successful experience for everyone.
