Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli luoda työn tilaajalle kestävää kehitystä ja biotaloutta käsittelevä verkkokurssi, jota voidaan käyttää teknisen alan opiskelijoille. Työn tilaajana oli Tavastia Koulutus Oy, joka tuottaa monipuolisia työelämä- ja koulutuspalveluita yrityksille ja yhteisöille. Tavastia Koulutus Oy haluaa vastata tulevaisuuden työelämän tarpeisiin kestävyyden tuntemisesta ja tunnistamisesta teknisillä aloilla.
Toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tuloksena syntyi verkkokurssi ”Tekninen osaaminen ja kestävyys”, jonka tavoitteena on auttaa opiskelijaa ymmärtämään kestävyyden perusteet ja soveltamaan niitä omassa työssään. Koronaviruksen vauhdittama digiloikka on nopeuttanut koulutusten siirtymistä verkkoon ja siksi oli tärkeää ymmärtää lähi- ja verkko-opetuksen erot. Teoreettinen viitekehys koostuikin tässä työssä kestävyyden perusteiden, mutta myös ammatillisen koulutuksen tilan ja tulevaisuuden, sekä laadukkaan verkkokurssin rakentamisen ympärille.
Työn tilaaja sai käyttöönsä valmiin verkkokurssin materiaalit, sekä niihin kuuluvat tenttimateriaalit. Verkkokurssi on muunnettavissa myös muille kuin teknisille aloille työn tilaajan niin halutessa. The aim of the thesis was to create an online course on sustainable development and bioeconomy, which the commissioner of the thesis can use for students in the field of technology. The commissioner of this thesis was Tavastia Koulutus Oy, which provides versatile working life and education services for companies and communities. Tavastia Koulutus Oy wants to meet the needs of the future working life by knowing and identifying sustainability in technical fields.
The result of thesis is an online course on "Technical competence and sustainability" that aims to help students understand the basics of sustainability and apply them in their own work. The digital leap fuelled by the coronavirus has accelerated the online transfer of education, which is why it was important to understand the differences between contact teaching and online teaching. In this work, the theoretical framework consisted not only around the basics of sustainability, but also around the state and future of vocational education and training, as well as the construction of a high-quality online course.
The commissioner of the work has access to the materials of the completed online course, as well as the exam materials. The online course can also be converted into non-technical fields if the commissioner so wishes.
