Games, seriously!? Serious games as a tool for empowerment

Abstract

This handbook explores the opportunities of game-based empowerment in three countries, namely Belgium, Finland and Sweden. It is targeted at professionals in the fields of teaching, social work and employment counselling, who work with NEETs (young people ’Not in Education, Employment or Training’) or with migrants and refugees. It aims at giving professionals practical tools and inspiration to start using games in their work.

The handbook has been produced by transnational CONNEXT for inclusion project (2018-21), which was funded by European Social Fund.
