Tiivistelmä
This bachelor’s thesis was commissioned by BNP Paribas with the purpose to to better understand how information and communication technologies (ICTs) are affecting the way the company operates and then to make the best use of it and intelligently anticipate future technological changes.
The problem that BNP Paribas and every other “old” bank are facing is current, nowadays everything evolves with technology, especially in the banking environment with online banking, people move less and less and use their computer or smartphone for such services. Moreover, with the Covid-19 pandemic, there is a technological gap which made ICTs evolve to another level and they are more and more solicited with, for example, telecommuting which has exploded in terms of use since the beginning of the crisis.
