This thesis is aiming on promoting and orienting the Chinese company Fangce Education Consulting Co., Ltd. in the development of the educational travel market in China.
The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the current tourism market characteristics in China. Define educational travel and define the concept of educational travel which matches the Chinses tourism market. By studying the tendency of the target customer group to choose Finnish study tour products and the content and experience that the products should contain to build a roadmap for the Chinese company in order to guide the possible future direction of their tourism business.
The theoretical part of this thesis presents an overview of the Chinese tourism market, the definition of educational travel in China. This is followed by an in-depth understanding of the analysis of this specialized market. In addition, the theories related to the design of educational travel products for the Chinese market are included. Meanwhile, the content of the Finnish educational tourism market is one of the highlights, and the authors will describe the advantages of Finland as an educational travel destination as well as its own characteristics.
In addition, the thesis uses Business Model Canvas to help the case company analyze its unique strengths to guide its competitive strategy to attract customers in the Chinese market.
The experimental design section analyzes the data sample obtained through the quantitative study and identifies key factors for development, laying the foundation for future strategy development.
In conclusion, the results of this thesis will guide the enterprise in the future development direction of educational travel, policy formulation, providing basic ideas for their product design, and finding potential customers.
