Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the development phenomenon of basketball in Guangzhou,to study the current situation of the development of basketball in Guangzhou,and to provide guidance for the future development of basketball in Guangzhou.
This study used literature research method,data analysis method,logical analysis method,and SWOT analysis method.I collected the literature and data used in the study through the Baidu search engine during the study.
According to the conclusion of the data and literature analysis,basketball development in Guangzhou has become better in recent years,but there are still many areas that can be improved.
The study show that basketball is very popular in Guangzhou and has a wide basketball market.But there are no significant achievements in competitive basketball.The main reasons why students do not participate in basketball are lack of time,lack of professional coaches and economic reasons.There is a lack of professional basketball teachers on campus and a lack of talent in sports management.The study also shows that professional basketball in Guangzhou needs to use the NBL league to develop more management talents.Policies need to be fully implemented for better basketball development in Guangzhou.
