With the ever-growing use of mobile phones and technology, people are relying on mobile applications more than ever before. The author has identified a gap when it comes to mobile app guides in Helsinki.
By combining the experience of the author within Helsinkis bar scene and his passion for design, the objective of the thesis is the creation of a simple yet easy to use prototype of a bar guide designed for both travellers and locals that are looking for new venues to visit within the city in hopes of giving them a more insightful look of Helsinki and the various selection of bars, cocktail and hotel bars, and nightlife that the city has to offer in order to get the most out of their trip to Helsinki. Additionally, make Helsinki a more appealing travel destination and create a community where tarvellers and locals can come together and connect.
