Varastonhallintajärjestelmän valinta

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena on kartoittaa, millainen varastonhallintajär jestelmä sopisi kohdeyritykselle. Työssä vertaillaan kolmea erilaista järjestel mää ja annetaan näistä suositus yritykselle. Yrityksen päätoimialaa ovat kulje tukset, mutta yritys harjoittaa myös varastotoimintaa, jossa yritys varastoi yritys ja yksityisasiakkaiden tavaroita. Yritys ei käytä varastonhallintajärjestelmää,

vaan varaston kirjanpito tapahtuu manuaalisesti paperityönä. Opinnäytetyössä järjestelmän toimittajat pisteytetään sekä perustellaan, mikä olisi paras vaihto ehto. Opinnäytetyön teoriaosassa käydään läpi varastointia, varastonhallintajärjestel miä ja järjestelmän valintaan liittyvää, kuten hankinnan valmistelu, erilaiset su denkuopat ja tarjouksien vertailu. Asiat, joita työn teoriaosassa käsitellään, ovat hyvin oleellisia kohdeyritykselle. Opinnäytetyössä käytettäviä tutkimusmenetel miä ovat haastattelut, havainnoinnit sekä kyselyt. Haastattelut toteutettiin yrityk sen johdon sekä työntekijöiden kanssa.

Opinnäytetyön tuloksena saatiin käsitys siitä, mitä pitää ottaa huomioon varas tonhallintajärjestelmää valittaessa ja kuinka valmistella tätä hankintaa oikean järjestelmän löytämiseksi. Työn tärkeimpiä vaiheita olivat järjestelmien kartoit taminen ja se, mitä siinä pitäisi ottaa huomioon välttääkseen sudenkuopat

The purpose of this thesis is to map out what kind of an inventory management system would be suitable for the target company. The work compares three different systems and gives a recommendation based on these to the company. The company's main business is transportation, but the company also engages in warehousing, where the company stores goods for corporate and private cus tomers. The company does not use an inventory management system, but the inventory is accounted for manually through paperwork. In the opin sample, the suppliers of the system are scored and described as the best option. The theoretical part of the thesis covers storage, inventory management sys tems and the stages of selecting a system, such as procurement preparation, pitfalls and bid comparisons. The issues covered in the theoretical part of the thesis are very relevant to the target company. The research methods used in the thesis include interviews, observations and questionnaires. Interviews were conducted with the company's management and employees. As a result of the thesis, a description was given of what should be taken into account when choosing an inventory management system and how to prepare for this acquisition in order to find the right system. The most important steps in the study were surveying the systems and understanding what should be taken into account to avoid possible pitfalls.
