Tiivistelmä
The second MUrCS (Master in Urban Climate and Sustainability) proceedings introduces 15 articles by students graduated from the programme in 2021. The articles are classified under the main themes Climate change adaptation in different urban contexts and Urban Heat Island (UHI) in connection with urban overheating mitigation. Three articles represent cross-cutting studies: mobility emissions, environmental education and analysis of heatwaves.
Master in Urban Climate and Sustainability is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Programme coordinated by Glasgow Caledonian University (UK) in cooperation with the partners, University of Huelva (SP) and LAB University of Applies Sciences (FI). The master students have been hosted by all institutions and the education is carried out also in cooperation with associated academic partners in Sri Lanka, Brazil, South Africa and Israel. Institutional and industry partners support the programme activities in each partner country.
