Taloussuhdanteiden vaikutukset pohjalaisiin talopakettivalmistajiin : Case: Isokyrön Talotehdas Oy, Jetta-Talo Oy ja Puutalokymppi Oy

Abstract

Opinnäytetyöni aiheena oli selvittää kolmen pohjalaisen talopakettivalmistajan taloudellinen tilanne vuosien 2008−2011 ajalta. Erityisenä kiinnostuksen kohteena oli vuoden 2009 talouden taantuman vaikutus yritysten talouteen. Tutkimukseen valitut yritykset olivat Isokyrön Talotehdas Oy, Jetta-Talo Oy ja Puutalokymppi Oy. Tutkimusmenetelmänä oli mitata yritysten kannattavuutta, maksuvalmiutta ja vakavaraisuutta tilinpäätöksistä saatujen lukujen perusteella. Saadut tulokset olivat ennakko-odotuksiin nähden yllättäviä, sillä talouden taantuman vuosi 2009 ei noussut esiin heikoimpana vuotena yritysten taloutta kuvaavilla tunnusluvuilla mitattuna. Vuosi 2011 oli monen tunnusluvun osalta yritysten taloudessa heikoin vuosi. Odotuksia vastasi kuitenkin se, että suuremman liikevaihdon yrityksen Jetta-Talo Oy:n taloudelliseen tilanteeseen ei taantumalla ollut mittavia vaikutuksia.

The aim of this thesis was to examine the financial status of the three Ostrobothnian manufacturers of prefabricated houses during the years 2008−2011. A special interest was taken in the effects of the recession of the year 2009 on the financial status of the manufacturers. The manufacturers chosen for the study were Isokyrön Talotehdas Oy, Jetta-Talo Oy and Puutalokymppi Oy. The method was to measure the manufacturers' profitability, liquidity and solvency based on the figures on their financial statements. For this purpose the Navita Yritysmalli –software was used to calculate the values of the key ratios. Each economy sector was measured with 3 – 4 indicators. Then the financial status of each of the manufacturers was analysed individually and between each other. The results were surprising. Unlike expected the recession of the year 2009 was not the weakest year with any of the manufacturers when assessed with the key ratios of profitability, liquidity and solvency. Especially in the manufacturers’ profitability and liquidity there was no particular weakening to be noticed that year. Instead the year 2011 appeared to be the weakest year when measured with many of the key ratios. What was expected was that the effects of the recession on the financial status of the manufacturer with the highest revenue, Jetta-Talo Oy, were not notable.
