Tiivistelmä
Information technology has enabled us to communicate across vast distances with speed and efficiency never seen before. It also has enabled breaches of personal and corporate privacy like nothing before. This thesis demonstrates how it is possible for just about anyone to collect information about how people are using the internet. The thesis then proceeds to describe how the means could be negated for an individual through simultaneous and automated web browsing. Finally, the thesis focuses on the network needs of governmental and enterprise offices, proposing an idea to improve the basic security against attempts of intrusion and information theft.
