The 3’R of Waste management is “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”. Recycling is a concept where waste management is taken and further converted as a material that can be used during different stages of product development. Common recyclable materials are metals, paper, and cardboard, tires, plastics, batteries, and electronics. Liquid Packaging Board are multiple layered containing polymer-coated paperboards, with a layer of aluminum foil and plastic polyethylene. It is naturally believed they cannot be recycled due to their multilayer structure. That is not the case, Paper boards are easily recycled into paper fiber, other material is classified as pulper reject. The report aims to refer analysis of the liquid packaging board (LPB) recycling. The work focuses on studying the recycling process of plastic coming out as pulper reject.
