Tiivistelmä
Tämän kehittämistyön tarkoituksena on tarkastella, kuvailla sekä vertailla Freja Transport & Logistics Oy:n vanhaa laskutustapaa ja uutta hyvitysperusteista laskutustapaa toisiinsa. Vertailun keskiössä on uuden tavan eli liikennöitsijähyvityksen tuomat edut vanhaan verrattuna. Etuja ovat esimerkiksi ajalliset ja taloudelliset säästöt sekä ympäristön vähempi rasitus toiminnassa. Edellä mainittujen lisäksi työssä tarkastellaan Frejan kehittämää mobiilisovellusta, joka on luotu kuormien liikkuvuuden tehostamiseksi. Kehittämistyön toimeksiantajana on Freja Transport & Logistics Oy.
Toimeksiannon tarve ja ajankohtaisuus nousevat siitä, että digitalisaation merkitys logistiikan parissa on kasvanut. Ajankohtaisuuteen kytkeytyy tiiviisti myös se, että tarve muutosten tekemiselle Frejan laskutustavassa oli merkittävä kilpailukyvyn ylläpitämisen kannalta. Kehittämistyön tavoitteena on luoda havainnollistavaa kuvaa vanhan ja uuden laskutustavan eroavaisuuksista sekä uuden laskutustavan ja mobiilisovelluksen tuomista hyödyistä. Kehittämismenetelminä on hyödynnetty muun muassa dialogista keskustelua ja aikaisempaan tutkimustietoon perehtymistä. The purpose of this development work is to view and describe the old way of invoicing and the new way of invoicing at Freja Transport & Logistics Oy, and compare them with each other. In the center of the comparison are benefits that the new way of invoicing or haulier crediting brings, compared to the old way. The advantages are for example savings in time and finances and less strain on the environment. In addition to the above, the work examines a mobile application developed by Freja that has been created to enhance the mobility of cargo. The client of this development work is Freja Transport & Logistics Oy.
The demand and timing of the assignment arises from the growing importance of digitalization in logistics. The necessity of making changes in Freja’s way of invoicing was significant for maintaining competitiveness, and that is also tightly connected to the assignments timing. The goal of this development work is to create a descriptive picture of the differences between the old and new invoicing methods and the benefits of the new invoicing method and the mobile application. The development methods that have been used are dialogical conversation and getting acquainted with earlier theoretical knowledge among other things.
