Tiivistelmä
Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuotteistaa IT-palveluyhtiö Tietokeskus Finland Oy:n projektipäällikköpalvelu. Tietokeskuksessa oli havaittu, että sen asiakasyritysten IT-projekteihin tarvitaan niihin erikoistuneita projektipäälliköitä kertaluontoisesti tai osa-aikaisesti, joten asiakkaiden ei kannata palkata tätä varten omaa projektipäällikköä, vaan ostaa se palveluna.
Opinnäytetyössä perehdyttiin sekä tuotteistuksen että palvelumuotoilun prosesseihin. Toteutusvaiheessa pidettiin kolme osallistavaa työpajaa, joissa määriteltiin palvelun sisältö ja kuvattiin tilauksen palvelupolku. Tämä toteutettiin blueprinting-menetelmällä tehtynä vuokaaviona, ja hinnoittelussa hyödynnettiin benchmarking-vertailuanalyysiä.
Opinnäytetyö on toiminnallinen ja sen tuloksena Tietokeskukselle tuotteistettiin uusi lisäpalvelu. Työn kirjallisina tuotoksina syntyivät projektipäällikköpalvelun myymisen ja tuottamisen pilotointiin tarvittavat dokumentit. Lisäksi työn avulla toimeksiantaja sai määriteltyä palvelun hinnoittelun ja rajaukset. The purpose of this thesis was to productize the project manager service of an IT services company Tietokeskus Finland Oy. It was found at Tietokeskus that its customer companies need specialized IT project managers on a one-off or part-time basis for their IT projects. In these cases, there is no need for the customers to hire their own project manager, when they can purchase one as a service.
In the thesis, the processes of both productization and service design were introduced. During the implementation phase, three participatory workshops were held to define the content of the service and to describe the service path of the order. The service path description was done as a flowchart using the Blueprinting method, and benchmarking was used to validate the pricing.
The thesis is functional and as a result a new additional service was productized for Tietokeskus. The written outputs of the study include the documents needed to pilot the sale and production of the project manager service. In addition, the thesis enabled the client to define the pricing and limits of the service.
