Impact of KPIs Measurement in the Supply Chain in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Multinational Corporations

Abstract

The main objective of this academic work is to analyze how beneficial is to measure the performance of the supply chain operations in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs) multinational companies (MNCs) and understand what are the short, medium, and long term advantages that KPIs records can provide to an organization. The thesis objectives are to provide valuable information to any multinational, medium-sized company or any professional involved in the supply chain management field. The thesis objective will be achieved through the application of several qualitative instruments to professionals in the supply chain field within multinational companies of the fast-moving consumer goods industry and deep and detailed desktop research. Finally, this work pretends to sum to the collective knowledge through quality work that can enrich any other academic work of other students and professionals regarding the topics covered in this work.
