Tiivistelmä
The aim of this thesis was researching the process of menu diversification and cost optimization and create the business plan for commission party from theories. The thesis focuses on the general process of making menu and catching menu trending which make menu more diversify. The author also researched finance management, and reduction cost methods to optimize cost for restaurant industry.
The goal of the thesis was focused on two main questions: how to diversify menu? And how to reduce cost to have more customer and profit for company. The thesis can be a useful for company and reader who work in restaurant industry.
The thesis was divided to two parts:
First part is theoretical part where the knowledges and experience from authorities were collected and researched includes 2 main research issues which are menu diversification and optimizing cost. The part also includes 2 sub research issues, which is related to main issues, are competitor analysis and marketing strategy.
The second part is the business plan for company, the part is an application of the theory part for business plan, includes the formation of the idea for business plan and the process of making business plan.
