Tiivistelmä
The business plan and the making of the mobile food app are ideas contributing to an authentic research document for building a 24/7 restaurant business in Helsinki. By following a given business's demands, a food ordering app emerges as a strategic advertising tool and the most sales channel of the relevant restaurant. However, in Haaga-Helia's version, the thesis will not focus mainly on the business plan. More willingly than the inclusivity plan, the thesis performance is the designer's adherence to specified business requirements, like a concept outsourcer.
In the context of fast ICT development in the 21st century, the tremendous growth in information technology (IT) has escalated human demands in the core food industries, specifically from businesses to consumers. Consequently, the strict selection has made the food ordering app industry more competitive. Thus, the distinctiveness of restaurant apps among top brands hints at the collection of various variables. The variable range starts from how to shape the orientation of app development to direct its current user experience.
The orientation includes the app mechanism and its working background. The app mechanism creates the perfect condition for turning the idea into practice. Meanwhile, user experience evaluation exposes how practical the mechanism is. Thus, a challenge in changing complex modular structures occurs when the project deeply progresses. Design academies must adhere closely to the UCD concept accompanying business requirements to minimize linear and unilateral admission.
