Tiivistelmä
I decided to do this thesis first of all on recruitment because it is an area that I have grown to love through my experiences. When I found out a long time ago that we had to do a thesis on a subject that could potentially interest us, I didn't think twice. I wanted to do my thesis on a topic related to recruitment.

So I decided to focus on the strategic dimension of recruitment, which I think is something very important. So, I want to present in this report what are the most effective strategies to be able to acquire the best talents and thus meet the human needs.

Since this is a very broad topic, I had to delimit the subject in order not to go off topic. My thesis therefore consists of two parts. The first part consists of talking about internal recruitment, i.e. a company, thanks to its human resources department, recruits its own talent. In this part we define the key concepts, the strategic dimensions of internal recruitment based on theories and knowledge but also by conducting qualitative research, by interviewing a person who deals with recruitment within the HR division of the company.

In the second part, we will talk about external recruitment, i.e. when a company goes through an intermediary, a recruitment agency, to find the best talent. We will therefore detail the advantages of going through these firms. We will finish by interviewing a consultant from a recruitment agency and finally a candidate who went through a recruitment agency ( FED ) to find a job. In both cases, the objective is to acquire the best talent and limit selection errors. Indeed, by having the best talent, companies ensure the smooth running and potential increase of their activities.
