Tiivistelmä
Oikeanlainen ja looginen raportointi potilaan siirtotilanteissa on ensiarvoisen tärkeää potilasturvallisuuden näkökulmasta. Monimutkaiset viestimistavat koetaan hankalaksi ja lisäävät ongelmia kommunikaatiossa.
Tämän projektin tehtävänä oli luoda opetusvideoita ISBAR-raportointimenetelmän käytöstä Tyks Lasten ja nuorten klinikalle. Tavoitteena on perehdyttää hoitohenkilökunta ja opiskelijat ISBAR-raportointimenetelmän käyttöön sekä kiireettömässä että kiireellisessä tilanteessa. Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantajana toimi Tyks Lasten ja nuorten klinikka.
Lapsen obstruktiivisesta bronkiitista tehtiin kolme opetusvideota. Kiireellinen raportointitilanne ilman ISBAR-raportointimenetelmää päivystyksestä teho-osastolle, sama potilastilanne ISBAR-raportointimenetelmää hyödyntäen sekä kiireetön raportointitilanne ISBAR-raportointimenetelmää hyödyntäen teho-osastolta vuodeosastolle. Opetusvideot löytyvät Tyks Moodle-alustalta.
ISBAR-raportointimenetelmä tuo esille kaiken olennaisen tiedon, varmistaa yhdenmukaisen tiedonkulun ja vähentää merkittävästi kommunikaatioista johtuvia haittatapahtumia. The right and logical reporting method in patient transfers is primarily important from the patient safety perspective. Complicated communication methods are found to be difficult and increasing communication problems.
The task of this project was to create educational videos about ISBAR-reporting method for Tyks department of paediatrics and adolescent medicine. The aim of the project is to familiarize nursing staff and students with the use of ISBAR reporting method in both urgent and non-urgent situations. Tyks Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine works as the mandator for this thesis.
Three educational videos were made about child’s obstructive bronchitis. Urgent report without ISBAR reporting method from emergency care to intensive care unit, the same report using ISBAR reporting method and non-urgent report using ISBAR reporting method from intensive care unit to inpatient ward. The educational videos are found in Tyks Moodle.
ISBAR reporting method brings out every essential information, secures the consistent communications and reduces significally adverse events from communications.
