Tiivistelmä
The same observation has been made for many years, that it is increasingly difficult to find a job and even more so for generation Z. Indeed, the unemployment rate is on average 14% in January 2022 in Europe. In addition to this observed phenomenon, the recruitment sector is also in constant evolution and has turned more towards e-recruitment. This study aims to evaluate the potential adoption of a matchmaking skills-based recruitment app-idea. An innovative function in this field would allow regulating the problem analyzed with this young generation while using the current ways of recruiting, Internet in the first place. The author applied a deductive approach and mixed methods through a survey questionnaire in order to collect both quantitative and qualitative data. The results show that most of the respondents are willing to adopt this app-idea due to their satisfying level of anticipated user experience through a specific usage scenario and features that met their needs. The results also confirmed some initial theories and highlighted the fact that the matchmaking skills function is innovative and not well known in some previous work conducted by the author. Finally, the author concluded from all of his research and the questionnaire survey that the app-idea was innovative and is ready to be adopted by users because it addresses a set of findings that would improve the field of recruitment for both job seekers and recruiters.
