The subject of this thesis project was chosen in response to the demand of a chief cook. The commisionner is not satisfied with the functionalities and user experience provided by the corresponds better to his needs as chief cook.
This thesis project aims to understand the problematic that oppose current software solutions to the needs of chief cooks and to create a new solution that responds to the problem. The product generated during this project is not meant to be fully finished, but a concrete implementation of an improvement of the user experiece and of the most important functionalities is done to demonstrate which limits can be overcomed and how to achieve it.
The software is conceived using the three-tier architecture model with Windows Forms as presentation layer and a SQL database for the data layer.
