Tiivistelmä
Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on kuvata elintarvikealalla toimivan yritys X:n tilaus-toimitusketjun prosessit. Prosessikuvauksella pyritään saamaan yritykselle selkeä kuva sen prosessien nykytilanteesta ja kehityskohteista. Aiheen laajuuden vuoksi prosessikuvaus on jaettu tilaus-toimitusketjun pääprosesseihin eli suunnitteluprosessiin ja tilaus-toimitusprosessiin.
Opinnäytetyö toteutetaan yrityksen henkilöstön haastatteluja, tietokantaa sekä omaa työkokemusta hyödyntäen. Työ koostuu teoria- ja tutkimusosioista. Teoriaosiossa käsitellään tilaus-toimitusketjua, liiketoimintaprosesseja ja niiden kuvaamista. Tutkimusosiossa yritys X:n tilaus-toimitusketjun prosessit kuvataan yksityiskohtaisia tietoja ja kaavioita esittäen sekä tuodaan esiin kehityskohteita.
Opinnäytetyön tuloksena saadaan yksityiskohtaiset prosessikuvaukset yritys X:n tilaus-toimitusketjun prosesseista. Yrityksen suunnitteluprosessista ja tilaus-toimitusprosessista saadaan myös niiden omat yleiskaaviot ja rakennetta kuvaavat kaaviot. Prosessikuvausten avulla yritys X saa selkeän kuvan sen prosessien nykytilanteesta ja mahdollisista kehityskohteista. The purpose of this thesis is to describe the processes of food industry company X's order-supply chains. Process description aims to give the company a clear picture of the current state of its processes and find areas for development. Due to the vastness of the subject, the process description is divided into the order-supply chain’s main processes, planning process and the order-delivery process.
The thesis is implemented by conducting interviews with the company's personnel, also utilizing a database and own work experience. The work consists of theory and research parts. The theory section discusses the supply chain, business processes and their description. In the research section, the order-supply chain of company X is described, and development targets are searched.
As a result of the thesis, process descriptions of the company's order-delivery chain processes are obtained. The planning process and the order-delivery process also have their own general and structure diagrams. With the results, the company finds out a clear picture of its processes and areas for development.
