Painonmuutokseen perustuvan varastonhallintajärjestelmän tuomat säästöt

Abstract

Tässä opinnäytetyössä tavoitteena oli todentaa painonmuutokseen perustuvan varastonhallintajärjestelmän säästöt. Tämän opinnäytetyön teoriaosuus käsittelee materiaalihallintaa ja -ohjausta ja investointi laskelmia. Materiaalihallinnassa ja -ohjauksessa käsitellään työntö ja kanban ohjausta. Investointilaskemissa höydynnettiin takaisinmaksuaikaa ja sijoitetun pääoman tuottoastetta. Tutkimus toteutettiin tuotantolaitoksessa, jossa varastonhallintajärjestelmä otettiin käyttöön. Tutkimustuloksena saatiin todennettua varastonhallintajärjestelmän tuomat säästöt kohde yrityksen tuotannossa.

In this thesis the goal was to verify the savings of a warehouse management system based on weight change. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with material management and control and investment calculations. In material management and control, push and kanban control are discussed. In investment calculations the payback period of the investment and return of investment were utilized. The study was carried out in a production facility where the inventory management system were put in to use. As a result of the research it was possible to verify the savings brought by the inventory management system in the production of the target company.
