Swappie is a company of refurbished iPhones. It is a well-known refurbished phone company in Finland, and they also extend their business in most European countries. Swappie has been running many marketing campaigns that attract customers from Europe and Finland to buy and sell iPhones from Swappie phones. They used an online marketing strategy to explain to customers their products.
Swappie phone’s mission is based on refurbishing phones for everyone, and they believe in buying bright, not new ones. Swappie buys and sells refurbished phones to their customers within a guaranteed period. They buy phones in bulk from suppliers and directly from customers as well.
In this thesis, we tried to explain how Swappie's success journey will expand its business in South Asia and not just focus on European countries. The possibilities of expansion in Asia were discussed. The business techniques in the future will expand the business not only in Europe but also in other countries.
We surveyed how many people change phones due to the model upgrade and how many want to buy refurbished phones due to environmental sustainability and less expensive phones. SWOT analysis was performed to assess the -strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the proposed market expansion in the South Asian region.
