The purpose of this thesis is to design an e-commerce website using WordPress and to go through the prerequisites for building and launching an e-commerce website.
At the beginning of the work, different content management systems, and web hosting providers were examined, and WordPress was chosen due to its ease of use, community support, and hundreds of plugins and themes. This thesis covered the installation and use of WordPress and web administration, such as WordPress themes, additional sections, languages, development, and extensions. The thesis result was an online store. The thesis explains how to keep WordPress up to date, in addition to demonstrating website responsiveness and speed optimization.
