TIIVISTELMÄ
Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli kehittää palvelumuotoilun keinoja käyttäen omaisyhteistyön malli Aspa Palvelut Oy:n kehitysvammaisten tehostettuun palveluasumiseen. Tavoitteena opinnäytetyölle oli omaisyhteistyön mallin avulla saada selkiytettyä omaisten sekä työntekijöiden rooleja yhteistyössä. Näin kehitysvammainen asiakas saa laadukkaampaa asumisen palvelua ja toimiva yhteistyö näkyy asiakkaan hyvinvointina.
Palvelumuotoilun vaiheet olivat ymmärrysvaihe, konseptointivaihe ja prototypointivaihe. Ymmärrysvaiheessa selvitettiin, mitkä ovat omaisten ja asiakkaiden tarpeet omaisyhteistyössä, miten omaisyhteistyötä tehdään nyt ja mitkä ovat sen kehittämistarpeet. Menetelminä olivat aivoriihi, kysely esihenkilöille sekä kirjallisuuskatsaus kehitetyistä omaisyhteistyön malleista. Konseptointivaiheessa selvitettiin, mitkä teemat korostuvat tässä kohderyhmässä ja organisaatiossa sekä sovittiin ohjausryhmässä konseptiksi. Prototypointivaiheessa selvitettiin, millainen omaisyhteistyön malli olisi eri näkökulmista sopivin. Ohjausryhmässä tehtiin värillinen, neljään teemaan jaoteltu prototyyppi, joka arvioitiin. Arvioinnin mukaan malli on soveltuva sekä kehitysvammaisten palveluihin että muille asiakasryhmille.
Aivoriihien tuloksina havaittiin kehitysvammaisten henkilöiden ja omaisten arvostavan asiakkaan tuntevaa henkilökuntaa, tiedottamisen laadukkuutta sekä yhteistä luottamusta. Omaisyhteistyön malleissa korostuivat erilaiset omaisyhteistyön toteuttamisen vaihtoehdot, palautteen keräämisen vaihtoehdot ja laadulliset huomiot omaisyhteistyölle. Kyselyn tulosten mukaan esihenkilöt pitivät tärkeänä säännöllistä yhteydenpitoa, asiakkaan palvelun suunnittelua sekä suunnitelmallista omaisyhteistyötä. Palautetta saadaan omaisten tai palvelun tuottajan aloitteesta. Myös tilaajalta tulee vaateita.
Tuotoksena valmistui omaisyhteistyön malli, joka on PowerPoint-esitys. Siinä esitellään yhteistyö kehämatriisina, teemojen tarkemmat sisällöt ja omaisyhteistyön vuosikello. Omaisyhteistyön teemoja ovat yksilöllisyys, luottamus, suunnitelmallisuus sekä vuorovaikutteisuus. Omaisyhteistyön vuosikello sisältää yksikkökohtaisen suunnitelman yksikön omaisyhteistyöstä. Valmis omaisyhteistyön malli luovutetaan toimeksiantajan käyttöön ABSTRACT
The objective of the thesis was to develop a cooperation model with relatives in the assisted housing for the developmentally disabled of Aspa Services Ltd. by using means of service design. The aim was to clariy the roles of personnel and relatives in cooperation. By clarifying family cooperation, a customer with a developmental disability receives a higher quality housing service. Effective cooperation is reflected in the customer's well-being.
The focal points in service design are the phases of understanding, concept and prototype. In the phase of understanding it was clarified what the needs of relatives and customers are in family cooperation, the present state of cooperation and what the development needs for cooperation are. The methods of the thesis were brainstorming, the questionnaire for managers and a literature review of developed models of family cooperation. In the phase of concept it was found out which themes are emphasized in this target group and organization, and agreed upon in the steering group as a concept. In the phase of prototype it was determined what kind of family cooperation model would be the most suitable from different perspectives. The steering group made a prototype for the model of cooperation with relatives and evaluated it. According to the evaluation, the model is suitable for the services for the intellectually disabled and for other customer groups.
Brainstormings indacated that people with intellectual disabilities and their relatives appreciated personnel who know the customer, the quality of information and mutual trust. In models of cooperation with relatives various options for implementing cooperation with relatives, for collecting feedback and qualitative considerations for family cooperation were emphasized. The questionnaire indicated that supervisors thought it was important to keep regular contact, plan customers´ service, and plan cooperation with relatives. Feedback is received at the initiative of the relatives or the service provider. There are also claims from the subscriber of the service.
The output was a model of family cooperation, which is a PowerPoint presentation. Cooperation is presented as a circular matrix, the more precise contents of the themes and the annual wheel plan of cooperation with families per unit. The themes of family cooperation are individuality, trust, planning and interaction. A finished model is handed over to the comissioned company.
