This thesis investigates the significance of corporate responsibility within international large-scale enterprises during the global crises of the early 2020s. The thesis studies four different enterprises and three different crisis. All of the chosen enterprises are globally active and known. All chosen crises affected lives all around the world.
The thesis is a secondary analysis. It starts off with of a literary research explaining the termi-nology and elaborating the subject, and then goes on to investigate the chosen enterprises corporate responsibility reactions and actions by researching their public statements, annual reports and social media publications.
The thesis succeeds to prove, that corporate responsibility reactions and actions are a signifi-cant and common practice within international large-scale enterprises. They are well planned and executed with care, in order to support the ethical values of the enterprise behind them. Corporate responsibility is not a matter of gaining the attention of consumers and possible cus-tomers, but to genuinely show care and respect to the society surrounding us.
The findings of the thesis are used to create a table of guidance on how international large-scale enterprises should mold their corporate responsibility actions regarding to global crises in the future.
