Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyö tehtiin toimeksiantona Cargotec Finland Oy:n Raision Multiliftin tehtaaseen. Työn tavoitteena oli kehittää menetelmä lavansiirtojen ja keräilyprosessin tehostamiseen.
Opinnäytetyö on jaettu teoria- ja käytännönosuuteen. Teoriaosuudessa keskitytään tutkimusongelman kannalta merkittäviin aihepiireihin kuten varastointiin, materiaalivirtoihin, materiaaliohjaukseen ja Lean-filosofian erilaisiin työkaluihin. Opinnäytetyön käytännön osiossa esitellään varastoinnin nykytilaa, ongelmakohdat ja kehitysideat.
Lavansiirtojen ja keräilyprosessin kehittämisen menetelmäksi valikoitui Kanban-ideologiaan perustuvat kortit ja visuaalinen kontrollointi. Kanban-kortteihin hyödynnetään varmuusvaraston ja tilauspisteen määrittämistä. The thesis was written as an assignment for the Raisio Multilift factory of Cargotec Finland Oy. The main purpose of the assignment was to develop a method for making pallet transfers and the picking process more efficient.
This thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the focus is on topics that are significant in terms of the research problem, such as warehousing, material flows, material control and the various methods of the Lean philosophy. The practical section of the thesis presents the current state of warehouse, problem areas and development ideas.
Cards based on the Kanban ideology and visual control were selected as the method for developing pallet transfers and the picking process. Kanban cards are used to determine the safety stock and the order point.
