The cargo industry of Chongqing Airport is facing many challenges while developing rapidly. The objective of this thesis is to forecast the freight volume of Chongqing Airport in the future by analyzing the current situation of Chongqing Airport. To make corresponding countermeasures for the future development of Chongqing Airport freight.
Air freight is an indispensable part of modern logistics industry, and its development plays an important role in ensuring the economic development, material supply, and personnel exchanges of countries and regions. Therefore, it is necessary and important to formulate a development strategy for air cargo. A good development strategy can reasonably plan and allocate resources, improve the efficiency and efficiency of air cargo. It can guide air freight enterprises to allocate various resources reasonably, improve transportation efficiency, and reduce transportation costs. It can promote the long-term development of air freight enterprises, prevent blind expansion and excessive competition, and ensure the stable and healthy development of air freight.
The research of this thesis can be divided into three stages. Firstly, methods such as on-site observation and literature review were used to understand the relevant information of Chongqing Airport. Then, SWOT and PEST were used to analyze the current situation of Chongqing Airport, and the grey model prediction method was used to predict the freight volume of Chongqing Airport in the coming years. Finally, through analysis and prediction, five strategic priorities and six specific measures for the development of freight transportation at Chongqing Airport were identified.
In the development measures, it is proposed that Chongqing Airport needs to further develop infrastructure, introduce advanced infrastructure, and build new warehouses in the future to cope with the increasing demand for freight. In terms of logistics service level, the freight industry of Chongqing Airport needs to strengthen personnel training and technology introduction, improve service quality, meet customer needs, etc
In summary, this thesis provides suggestions and references for the development strategy of Chongqing Airport Freight. At the same time, this thesis provides useful references for relevant practitioners and has certain reference significance for research in other fields of the freight industry.
