With the implementation of the “14th Five-Year Plan” for civil aviation development, China's civil aviation construction has entered a new era with new requirements, faced new opportunities and challenges, and undertaken a new historical mission. The aviation market is gradually recovering in the post-epidemic era, and there is great potential for growth in the civil aviation market, with the focus on expanding the domestic market and restoring the international market. Therefore, the layout and construction of a complete aviation hub system is of particular importance. As the first step in airport construction, airport site selection not only affects the stability of air vehicles, but also has a significant impact on airport operations and the sustainability of the airport’s future development.
This paper focuses on the siting problem of NJ airport. Firstly, the background and purpose of the study are presented, the problems and solutions of NJ airport are clearly studied, and the structural arrangement of this paper is introduced. Secondly, the theoretical framework of this paper is established, and the theoretical knowledge is studied to lay the foundation for the research. Again, the background of NJ airport construction is introduced, the basic situation of NJ airport pre-selection option is described, and the construction problems are presented. Again, the index system of NJ airport site selection evaluation is established, questionnaires are designed, and experts are interviewed. From then on, the qualitative analysis of the expert survey method and the quantitative analysis of AHP are combined to analyze the data to select the best site selection plan and make suggestions. Finally, the research results of this paper are summarized, suggested, and reflected, hoping to provide guidance for the subsequent related research.
