Tiivistelmä
This study explores the impact of the Digital India initiative on government service delivery and citizen engagement. Digital transformation has been identified as a critical mechanism for improving service efficiency and promoting active citizen participation.
Research design uses qualitative descriptive-analytical methodologies; unstructured interviews were the primary data collection method. A questionnaire was developed based on relevant literature, focusing on the Digital India portal. The questionnaire covered five sub-dimensions: e-governance, DigiLocker, UMANG, BharatNet, and direct benefit transfer. Fifteen questions systematically explored the study variables. The sample size comprised 20 Indian citizens of varying ages and occupations.
Findings indicate a significant digital transformation's substantial and favorable impact on delivery and citizen engagement, enhancing interactions between citizens and the government.
