Tiivistelmä
The main objective of this study is to evaluate the innovations and organizational culture of the School of Technology and Innovations at the University of Vaasa. The School of Technology and Innovations has about 136 personnel. 61 personnel voluntarily participated in this survey. This study used a quantitative research method. The questionnaire was prepared through the Webropol platform and then an email was sent to the employees with a link to the online survey.
The results obtained from the findings confirm the beneficial connection between organizational culture and innovation. The School of Technology and Innovations has a tribal and adhocratic organizational culture. Furthermore, the results of the surveys show that organizational culture is of key importance for improving employees’ work performance. Therefore, the organizational culture of the School of Technology and Innovations places a high priority on human resource management.
In the future, I recommend that researchers evaluate how organizational culture and innovative work behaviors differ across various businesses and organizations. In addition, the cooperation of organizations with other organizations should be evaluated in an extra-organizational environment. On the contrary, how to motivate employees through innovative organizational culture should be investigated. Finally, the opportunities and challenges of creating an innovative organizational culture should be studied.
