Tiivistelmä
Social networks are Internet platforms that aim to create a virtual network where users can communicate with each other, making communication easier than it was a few years ago.
Moreover, from a marketing perspective, these platforms are not only commonly used by individuals, but are also an opportunity for companies when used as business tools. The advantages of online advertising are innumerable, such as cost reduction, precise access to target groups based on the consumer profiles found on each social network, the possibility of creating a closer image for users, etc.
However, legislative and cultural differences between countries must be taken into account. Although this online world has not yet been fully regulated, countries are becoming increasingly strict about what can and cannot be posted. When it comes to culture, as with traditional marketing channels, it is vitally important to know and respect the main aspects of the culture of the country you are looking at, especially in global companies.
