Education in entrepreneurship is becoming a critical area of curricula for university students. Few faculties/ schools have a concentration in entrepreneurship in the computing curricula. This study attempts to increase an understanding of technology entrepreneurship phenomenon by presenting what has been written in the literature. The study investigates the development of Technology Entrepreneurship Programme in the curricula at a university, in which students are beginning to learn the theory and practice of skills needed to be business entrepreneurs or innovators, and not mere scientists. The study used literature review and qualitative research methods. The findings suggest that there are is a need to develop the programme that focus on the area of technology entrepreneurship at universities. The study presented proposals for the development of Technology Entrepreneurship that university should adopt and justify proposals based on an analysis of the research and development data. The study also proposed and describe two frameworks/models: a) Framework for Technology Entrepreneurship and
b) Conceptual model for implementing the Technology Entrepreneurship Programme. This study will benefit universities or other institutions of higher learning in the process of developing and implementing entrepreneurship program into their curriculum. The study concluded with reflections on some of the strengths and weaknesses of the theoretical and methodological approaches taken. The study also focused on evaluating the outcomes of the development project and provide conclusions on its benefits to the organisation. It also provided recommendations for further research and highlighted the limitations of the study.
