Miten turvakotijakson aikana voidaan tukea vanhemman ja lapsen välistä suhdetta? : oppaan valmistaminen turvakodin asiakkaiden käyttöön

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli luoda Porin Ensi- ja turvakodille opas, jota turvakodin asiakkaat voivat hyödyntää. Opas sisältää apuja siihen, kuinka turvakotijakson aikana voidaan tukea lapsen ja vanhemman välistä suhdetta. Jotta pystyttiin luomaan kattava opas, joka vastaa tarpeeseen, oli perehdyttävä ensiksi aiheeseen laajemmin. Opinnäytetyössä käydään läpi turvakodin tarkoitusta, kiintymyssuhteiden merkitystä ja lähisuhdeväkivallan vaikutuksia.

Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin toiminnallisena opinnäytetyönä. Toiminnallisen toteutuksen lopputulemana on meidän luomamme opas. Porin Ensi- ja turvakodin työntekijöiltä kyseltiin, mitä he oppaalta toivoivat, jotta pystyimme vastaamaan heidän tarpeeseensa.

The aim of the thesis was to create a guide for the mother and child home and shelter of Pori, which the customers of the shelter can utilize. The guide contains help on how to support the child-parent relationship during the shelter period. In order to create a comprehensive guide that meets the need, it was necessary to familiarize yourself with the topic more broadly first. The thesis examines the purpose of the shelter, the meaning of attachment relationships and the effects of intimate partner violence.

The thesis was carried out as a functional thesis. The result of the functional implementation is a guide created by us. The mother and child home and shelter of Pori´s employees were asked what they wanted from the guide so that we could meet their needs.
