Nowadays, fitness for all has been widely developed in China, and people gradually realize the
importance of health. “Buying Health”has become a trend. Personal trainer has been named
one of the 20 most popular professions in the world in the 21st century by Time magazine. Guangzhou Institute of Applied Science and Technology as one of the few schools in
Guangdong Province to carry out fitness programs for the community to train a lot of
professional coaches. Using the methods of literature, questionnaire, interview and data
analysis, this paper analyzes the employment situation of graduates from Grade 11 to 18 who
choose the fitness specialty, these include gender, reasons for choosing a fitness program, certificate held, area of employment, ideal job, working hours, wage level, ability to expect
improvement, future career planning, and major sources of income, and interviews with gym
managers, experts and teachers in parts of Tianhe District. It draws the conclusion that the
study and fitness make the students benefit greatly, the employment prospect in the developed
cities is good, the vocational certificate is very important to the employment of students, the
comprehensive quality needs to be improved, the service quality is the key conclusion, and on this basis, it puts forward the pertinent suggestions, it is suggested that the students should spread the idea of body-building, obtain the relevant skill certificate, select the employment area, take part in the practical activities, correctly attribute and improve the service quality.
