Tiivistelmä
Early badminton was born in Japan and nurtured in India; modern badminton was born in
England and flourished in China. It is well known that the impressive achievements of Chinese
badminton have placed it at the top of the world's badminton world and that Chinese badminton
is the "perpetual motion machine" of the world's badminton development. However, the
development of badminton in China is not an isolated event, but also the result of multiple
factors. Therefore, the article uses literature and logical analysis to conduct a systematic and in-depth
analysis of the growth of badminton in China, the causes and importance of its development and
its development trends. The study concludes that Chinese badminton has experienced two lows and two peaks until it
achieved world dominance. The development of badminton in China, apart from its own
advanced technology, is also inseparable from the steady economic growth of China since the
reform and opening up of the country, and it can be said that the Chinese economy is the
foundation for the development of badminton. Politics is a solid policy environment for the
development of badminton. Culturally, the continuation of China's 5,000-year cultural tradition
has provided a strong spiritual leadership for the development of badminton in China. In view of
this, the article proposes to develop mass badminton, with mass events as the focus, to create
an atmosphere of badminton for all; consolidate badminton in schools again, with interest
education as the centre, to cultivate the roots of badminton reserves; and finally to create
competitive badminton events, with professional leagues as the focus, to enhance the reputation of badminton and other measures to promote the development of badminton in China, with the aim of continuing the hegemony of Chinese badminton The aim is to provide some reference and suggestions for the continuation of Chinese badminton's dominanance.
