Tiivistelmä
The aim of this thesis was to gain a better understanding of enterprise resource planning system implementations and the challenges that may face them. Different factors regarding the structure and management of implementation projects were also discussed.
The set goal of the thesis was achieved by theoretical research and four interviews. These interviews were conducted with people from different companies and backgrounds. Some had experiences from the consultant side and some from the client side of a project. Also, the interviewees combined had experiences in several different software solutions. Though the sample was small, it contained various different perspectives regarding the same topic in order to gain as comprehensive overview as possible.
